Getting started
What is a channel manager?
Software that keeps your rates and availability the same on every OTA. You change a rate once in Ratedist and it is sent to Booking.com, Agoda, Traveloka, Tiket.com and the others. When a room is booked on one OTA, it is closed on all the others.
Which OTAs can I connect?
Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Airbnb, Traveloka, Tiket.com, Trip.com and Google Hotels, plus more than 100 other channels.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Ratedist runs in the browser on a laptop, tablet or phone, in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
Moving from another channel manager
How long does switching take?
Usually 1–3 working days. Booking.com, Agoda and Expedia can be switched from their extranet the same day. Traveloka, Tiket.com and Trip.com switch through their market manager.
What happens to bookings I already have?
Existing bookings from Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb and Trip.com can be pulled in automatically. For Agoda, Traveloka and Tiket.com we enter them for you from your booking list, so no booking is missed.
Do my room numbers and rates carry over?
We set up your room types, rates and room numbers with you, then map each one to the matching room on every OTA.
Rates and OTAs
Can my price be different on each OTA?
Yes. Set one markup percentage per OTA, for example 20% on Booking.com and 25% on Tiket.com, to cover commission and member discounts.
Can I set a minimum stay for busy dates?
Yes. Minimum and maximum stay, closed to arrival or departure and stop sell are set per date in the calendar and sent to every OTA.
Booking engine and pricing
Do I get a booking page for my own website?
Yes. Every hotel gets a booking page with your logo and colours, a widget for your website and a connection to Google Hotels.
Where does the guest’s money go?
Into your hotel’s bank account, through your own Midtrans account. Ratedist does not hold the money.
